白金 soft 作反手 is really acceptable for most people!
Try 2.0 for even better control!

Andro Roxon 450 is another good choice, same case 2.0 for better control.

However, those are shake-hand experience, may not be true for pen-hold.

I once used Platin (normal not soft) as front hand and Platin soft as back hand on same blade.
You may consider that but many use Jo Gold as FH instead of Jo Platin

But why not use Chinese rubber as front hand ar?
He uses Pen-hold, right?
Chinese Rubber front hand should be the "Big road" for pen-hold wor!
